Movies
Disneyplus.com Login/Begin stands out among streaming services by providing an abundance of family-friendly movies, such as Star Wars and Pixar franchises, as well as more mature dramas such as Empire of Light which features Colombian family dealing with their past through magic, shot by legendary cinematographer Roger Deakins (Skyfall, Blade Runner 2049).
Bears is an engaging nature documentary which follows a family of brown bears as they navigate the wild and avoid natural perils, while Water & Power tells the tale of one state’s struggle against pollution, featuring Oscar winner Marina Zenovich and produced by Alex Gibney (Taxi to the Dark Side, Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired). Additionally, some more mature Marvel shows originally intended for Disney Plus have now been moved over to Hulu instead.
TV Shows
Disney+ features content derived from Disney properties like Pixar (cartoons), Marvel (superhero movies and TV), National Geographic (documentaries) and Lucasfilm (the Star Wars franchise). In certain territories, it also hosts content from other studios under its Star brand name.

4K Streaming
While most Disney Plus content is offered in HD resolution, there is also some 4K content that may require a high-speed internet connection to stream successfully.

Parental Controls
While Disney Plus provides some parental controls, they may not provide as comprehensive a solution as Netflix or YouTube do – making it easier for children to access age-inappropriate material that could cause them confusion, fear or trauma.
There are various ways parents can protect their profiles from being compromised by other users, including setting a four-digit PIN that protects it. To do this, launch the app and tap on each profile icon on the main screen.
Parents can also control content ratings for each profile to prevent accessing R-rated and TV-MA content. Should a child attempt to alter his/her rating without parental approval, an email will be sent directly to them from their parent account holder.
Subtitles
Subtitles can be an invaluable aid for those with hearing impairment or who don’t speak the native tongue of a film or show, yet can become distracting and irritating when automatically on while watching Disney Plus videos. Luckily, there’s an easy way to turn them off!
